Looks like the guys got a little payback. If you didn't know, there was a video made a little while back of a woman who was situated with a camera on her butt. The idea, as I'm sure you already know, was to see how many men took a good view of the lady's backside. (Video Below)

Ahoy, Spicey!
Sorry, Old Spice. It's just not the same without Isaiah. I see what you're trying to do though. However, Isaiah Mustafa can only be imitated but never replicated. He certainly shouldn't be imitated by the same agency in charge of creating that brilliant campaign. Whenever something new comes out that even slightly resembles the commercials Isaiah appeared in, we will automatically think you're just trying to copy it. Why not spend your energy creating something new and fresh, rather than just jumping on the success of your old campaign. I think it's time to let it go and move on.

Heineken and "The Date"
Sorry about the rather odd screenshot, but I thought it was rather attention grabbing if I say so myself. Heineken has been on a roll with these new campaigns that feature the alpha male of a party, taking control and showing everyone how it's done. According to Marketing Daily, the commercial below will make its TV debut during Sunday Night Football on NBC on Sept. 18th. The good thing is, I have it for you today! Now, when you're huddled by the TV come next Sunday, you'll say, "I saw it on The WIM first!" At least I hope you do.
According to Lesya Lysyj, the CMO for Heineken USA, the campaign looks to target males aged 21 to 34. Their goal was to showcase how to act in situations "where we know our enthusiasts want to demonstrate their confidence, resourcefulness and ability to navigate any social situation -- such as when making an entrance at a party or going on a date," she says. "This feeling of worldliness and assurance resonates with our target consumers around the globe, and we feel the cinema provides a unique and superior medium through which to tell our story to a captive audience."
A very clever commercial, and extremely well done. I'm looking forward to seeing more work like this in the future!

Coke Zero AND......
I've always applauded the commercials that Coke comes out with. They seem to always switch a nerve deep inside that triggers some sort of emotional connection. Whatever it is, it works, and it keeps me buying coke, and loving their commercials. What you have here is a spot for Coke Zero ANNNNND for their zero calorie drink. It's done in true Coke fashion, and filled with common Coke occurrences as seen in other Coke commercials. The only thing it's really missing is the polar bear...but then again, you wouldn't see the polar bear in a commercial for Coke Zero now, would you?

Back For the Future
Talk about some sweet new kicks to hit the market. Nike, in partnership with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research, is auctioning off 1,500 pairs of the Nike MAG self-lacing shoe. As you may have guessed, they were originally worn by Marty McFly in the movie Back to the Future II. If you're interested in making a bid for these sweet shoes, visit nikemag.ebay.com. Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait until 2015 for the power lace to become available. The commercial as you will soon see, features the likes of Kevin Durant, Bill Hader, Christopher Lloyd, Tinker Hatfield and Donald Fullilove. I've followed that up with a closer look at the shoe itself, and end you with a message from the man himself, Michael J. Fox.
~Until Next Time~
