I like to have schweppes with strangers

Here is one of the newest commercials from Schweppes starring Uma Thurman.  The commercial begins with a reporter finally getting the chance to interview Uma.  Uma, who is positioned very seductively on the couch can't stop going on about how she looooooves Schweppes.  She likes to schweppe with strangers and she even loves to schweppe in taxis.  Unfortunately the guy who is interviewing Uma,  is getting a little nervous, because he thinks Uma is talking about sex.  That's where it all goes horribly wrong.  You don't often see these types of commercials from Schweppes, and it makes me think that they are trying to appeal to a much wider audience.  Let me know what you think about this steamy spot in the comment section below.

Seat Belt Awareness: Osama's watery grave captured

Haha...wow.  I don't even know what to think about this.  With Osama Bin Laden being the topic of conversation this week, it was only a matter of days until someone out there created an ad.  What I find rather surprising though is that it was a campaign for seat belt awareness that decided to jump on it.  I mean...it is kind of funny.  Within hours of finding out Osama was killed, we discover that not only do we not get to see any photos of him but he was supposedly thrown, I mean ceremonially buried in the ocean.  Now, we won't ever find out how it was done, but let's pretend it happened like this, just for today.

NBA: Fish, Rim, Fish, Rim, Fishy Rimmm

What else can I say but simply, AWESOME.  I LOVE the new commercials the NBA is pumping out during the playoffs.  There are a bunch to this series of commercials, but the one I chose to feature today is the one starring Derrick Fisher, Mr. Clutch himself.  Another close favorite was the one titled "Rebounds".  Typically, or at least from what I have noticed, the NBA doesn't often produce comical spots like this one.  The ones that do come to mind, are the bobble head ones which are pretty good too, but typically you see more of them taking a more serious tone (or at least that's what I have experienced).  The commercial below is great mainly because of the personality of Mr. Spalding.  Who knew you could put so many funny lines in a ball!  I remember this game, and right when the Spurs thought they had it, good ol Spalding went on a shot of a lifetime destined for the bottom of the hoop.  What he says on the way down is something we only have just found out.  Take a look, and I'm certain you won't be disappointed.
