Guerilla marketing at its best! Shoppers were in for quite the surprise!  The stunt was used to promote the new Hammertime reality series on A&E.

Think you have what it takes to be the next Fantana? If you do this is just for you!  All you need to do is send Fanta,  a photo, a video, a compelling reason for wanting be a Fantana, and lastly have a  "a natural love of Fanta". I'm looking forward to seeing who steps up to do this!

Stella Artois Shows Good Storytelling


Stella Artois has come out with a very creative spot which uses a story line to advertise the product rather than just throwing it in your face like most companies do. I'm not sure which agency created this spot but I do know it was somewhere in Europe. BusinessWeek came out and said that the spot "really shows how European ad agencies and clients know how to tell brand stories with ads in a way that still eludes most U.S. clients and agencies". I hope I see more of these in the future.

2009 Xbox Project Natal Announcement



Project Natal...probably the coolest looking game console around, but can it really be true?  The one thing I find really funny about this is that they never show the actual console! haha.  I highly doubt the game play can be as smooth as it shows.  I'm interested to hear more about this in the future so lets see if they come out with any other developments.

Back again! Went into CVS to pick up a magazine and passed by this and thought I would share it with everyone. Pepsi is really pushing these new bottle designs across their entire product line. I haven't seen this one before but I don't think its anything that special...I guess it looks kinda cool.

Pepsi Max Goes on Tour

I find it so difficult to keep updating this blog on a regular basis, so congrats to everyone who manages to at least post something on consecutive days.  On the way to work this morning I didn't see the Zeitgeist bus, but I am still hoping for the "instant" prize they promised me for my original photo, let's see what happens!

Something which has just recently begun to interest me is how companies take their brand on mobile tours across the country.  An article on BrandWeek titled Pepsi Max Goes on Tour is a good example of what companies are trying to do with their brand by bringing it to you.  Pepsi Max will embark on this 10-week nationwide tour beginning this week.  Their trailer, dubbed "Fantasy World" looks to provide you with a unique experience that consists of an "ultimate" basement and backyard lounge where guests can enjoy beverage samples, a round of poker and sports programming.  The effort, via New York social marketing agency Mr Youth, targets males ages 25 to 39 at music festivals, nightclubs and car shows.

I'm sure the tour will be a success, maybe I can find it somewhere!  Anyways, if anyone out there manages to see it snap a photo and send it to me!
