The Pepsi Refresh Project

Expanding on the previous post, Pepsi is moving away from it's 23 year tradition and sitting out Super Bowl XLIV.  Interesting move, so let's see if the gamble pays off.  "The Pepsi Refresh Project" will be focusing on cause related marketing programs, that "will award grant money for community projects proposed and selected by consumers, such as helping high-school students publish books to develop their writing skills" (WSJ).  Pepsi hopes that their new approach will boost sales of its top North American beverage brands.
