There's a map for that vs. There's an app for that!

I've been wanting to post this for a few days and I'm sure you have seen these commercials a number of times. But....while I was watching TV last week I saw a Verizon commercial that sounded eerily familiar to a very popular commercial that came out a little while ago. What's funny about these two commercials is that as Verizon makes jabs at AT&T's spotty coverage, Apple comes out with how great the iphone is on the AT&T network! Anyways, found that funny. Here they are and I'll let you make your own decision!

  1. I think this post is great, because it brings to light to differing pormotional elements. One being Verizon's leverage of its coverage network or its technology infrastructure. The second of Apple's products' benefits, the app, which in my perspective is a somewhat coy approach to differentiating yourself from the competition if a coverage network issue does exist. I don't have knowledge of this, but if such is the case.. why would a company such as Apple allow another brand to treat them the way they treated Microsoft? Comments please...

  2. Thanks for the comment! Great insight.
